1. Who we are

Bias Theory ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent fan commentary and entertainment platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any K-Pop artist, entertainment agency, music label, or management company. All artist and group names are referenced for commentary, criticism, and educational purposes under fair use principles.

By accessing or using biastheory.net, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Entertainment purposes only

This is important enough to say clearly and more than once:

• All personality reads, archetypes, quiz results, and Deep Dive reports are entertainment content — not psychological assessments, clinical evaluations, or professional advice of any kind.
• Results are generated through personality-based quiz questions and AI language models. They are not scientifically validated instruments and should not be used as the basis for any personal, professional, medical, or mental health decisions.
• The "mirror or aspiration" framework, archetype system, shadow work content, and compatibility reads are creative interpretations designed for self-reflection and entertainment. They do not represent clinical or therapeutic frameworks.
• If any content resonates with something you are genuinely struggling with, please speak to a qualified mental health professional — not a K-Pop bias quiz.

3. Use of the site

By using Bias Theory, you agree to:

• Use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes only
• Not reproduce, redistribute, or resell any content generated by Bias Theory without permission
• Not use the site in any way that could harm, disable, or impair the platform or other users
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the site or its content
• Be at least 13 years of age — this site is not directed at children under 13

We reserve the right to refuse access to any user who violates these terms.

4. Paid products — Deep Dive reads

Bias Theory offers paid AI-generated personality reports ("Deep Dive Reads"). By purchasing a Deep Dive Read, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Deep Dive Reads are generated by an AI language model (Claude by Anthropic) based on your quiz inputs. The content is unique to your session but is AI-generated, not written by a human professional.
• Deep Dive Reads are entertainment products. They are not psychological assessments, therapy, coaching, or professional advice of any kind.
• All sales are final. Because Deep Dive Reads are generated instantly and delivered digitally, we do not offer refunds except in cases where the product was not delivered due to a technical error. If you did not receive your read, contact us at hello@biastheory.net and we will resolve it.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment information.

5. Intellectual property

The Bias Theory brand, name, logo, site design, original written content, archetype system, quiz questions, and scoring methodology are the intellectual property of Bias Theory and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

AI-generated Deep Dive content is produced for the individual purchaser's personal use. You may share excerpts for personal purposes (e.g., posting on social media) but may not resell or republish full reads.

K-Pop artist and group names referenced on this site belong to their respective rights holders. Bias Theory claims no ownership over any artist name, likeness, music, or official content.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Bias Theory is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, expressed or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content — including AI-generated reads — will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bias Theory and its operator are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, reliance on any content, or purchase of any product.

7. Third-party services

Bias Theory uses third-party services to operate. By using the site you acknowledge that interactions with these services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies:

• Formspree — form submissions (formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy)
• Mailchimp — email communications, if you subscribe (mailchimp.com/legal/privacy)

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
